We Are Looking for a Diesel Technition - Straight Pay Only $32 - $38 Per Hour
Position Overview:
Moran Transportation Corporation is seeking a skilled and results-driven Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Elk Grove Village, Illinois facility. This is a first-shift, full-time position offering a dynamic work environment in a fast-paced transportation and logistics setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on company trucks and equipment.
- Inspect trucks, trailers and other equipment on a periodic basis.
- Conduct preventative maintenance services, including greasing, oil changes, and lubrication of components.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records, including parts usage and work performed.
- Utilize company-provided service vehicles as needed.
- Perform road-side service calls.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are effective.
- Document repairs and maintenance performed.
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks as assigned by management.
Full-Time Forklift Operator/Dock Worker - $20 Per Hour
- Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift
- 4pm Start
- 40 Hours Per Week
