Location: Denver, CO


Salary: $50K - $65K base (depending on experience)


Benefits: Excellent benefits package, 401K, medical


Software: CargoWise (or similar software preferred)


Eligibility: Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.


Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working at an International Freight Forwarder in operations is required.

Job Overview: Import/Export Coordinator


The Import or Export Coordinator is responsible for handling air import or export files, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing quotes, and providing excellent customer service.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Handle day-to-day air import or export shipments.

  • Pre-alert agents and shippers; organize and prepare documentation for customers.

  • Follow up with steamship lines and maintain daily reports for pending shipments.

  • Ensure all required documents are received and send final documents as needed.

  • File the relevant documentation to process shipments.

  • Arrange pick-ups, deliveries, and container loading as required.

  • Maintain customer service updates, including tracking cargo from origin to destination.

  • Set up billing and payables.

  • Other duties as assigned.



Desired Skills and Expertise:



  • Commitment to excellent customer service with effective communication and follow-up skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment or independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.



Qualifications:



  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.

  • At least 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding logistics operations.

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
