Transportation Manager
Salary: $60,000-$65,000 yearly

Position Overview:
The Transportation Manager oversees all aspects of DOT transportation operations, including CDL A and B driver supervision, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, and safety. This role ensures adherence to quality assurance programs, fosters leadership development, and promotes a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the transportation team, conduct performance reviews, and manage issues.
- Oversee DOT compliance, including driver schedules, routes, equipment, and hours of service.
- Execute administrative tasks (payroll, billing) and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure deliveries follow Standard Operating Procedures and company safety policies.
- Investigate accidents, damages, and transportation-related issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficiency.
- High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience with CDL drivers.
- Working knowledge of FMCSR/DOT regulations and OSHA rules.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Windows-based systems and onboard computer technology.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
