Fleet Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Moving Crew Manager oversees team members in a certain department to ensure it performs effectively. Responsibilities vary from hiring and training employees, creating, and implementing business strategies and delegating tasks to team members.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 Annual Salary
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing teams to develop, execute and complete assignments.
- Organizing team roles and evaluating employee performance
- Documenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level management
- Performing employee reviews and assessments
- Assist with new employee onboarding and training program.
- Create and distribute reports to update the company on the team's progress.
- Comply with all company and customer specific policies and procedures.
- Support warehouse functions as needed.
- Comply with federal, state, and local road regulations by following company policies and procedures.
- Enforce adherence to requirements by reporting issues as appropriate and advise management on needed actions.
- Provide consistent top-level customer service.
- Exemplify the Company values.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must know DOT requirements
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED or comparable work experience
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated focus on Safety.
- Well-developed Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Planning and development of projects
- Making operational and process decisions
- Solving problems creatively
- Organizing and delegating assignments to team members
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- The ability to develop, implement and assess performance metrics.
- Advanced knowledge in common office applications and word processing software
- Strong customer service skills
