What you'll need to succeed as a Manager, Learning Systems at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Instructional Technology or related field, or equivalent technical service experience
- 5 years of experience demonstrating creativity and technical ability with the focus in learning systems/technologies
- 4-5 years of recent experience in Cornerstone OnDemand Learning module administration in a production setting and working with LMS third party (publisher) content
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years direct supervisory or management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Service Now help desk system for support and handling of issues involving XPO University
- Knowledge of best practices for content design and development tools that engage learners and result in a positive learner experience
- Experience with Application Program Interface (APIs), business intelligence tools, SharePoint, and advanced systems integration (Reporting API to Google BigQuery integration a plus)
- Experience deploying learning management systems for a global company with a large number of hourly and seasonal employees

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Oversee and manage the XPO University global system platform including: integrations, strategies, deployments, processes and associated governance and standard operating procedures
- Support a large base of end-users (over 35K) in North America, Europe, and India locations
- Lead the project management process for learning system programs and deployments across multiple, business units
- Foster partnerships and provide communication around learning system issues and opportunities; communicate across organizational boundaries from system end users through senior management.
- Prepare documentation and develop workflows to explain complex topics such as API integrations, data flow, system utilization and trends
- Establish close working relationships across the enterprise, including L&D, Talent Management, HR, Operations, and external vendors as needed
- Involve and/or obtain additional resources when needed (e.g., specialist teams or people for specific issues and opportunities)
- Provide leadership, training, oversight and development opportunities to the learning systems team (virtual and/or on-site) and support the internal XPOU Champions across business units
- Establish quality standards, testing (UAT) protocols, security roles, system notifications, and simple to complex reports and dashboards to ensure stakeholder needs are met
- Provides advanced level troubleshooting and solutions for training/learning content and data issues
