What you'll need to succeed as an Early Career Program Manager at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 3 years of combined experience in early career program management, campus recruiting, learning facilitation, learning content development, program design or adult learning theory
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience with early career programs to include program design and management
- Experience partnering with campuses or educational institutions for talent
- Experience supporting and advising on recruitment strategies for early career or career transition programs (i.e. Veterans, Law Enforcement etc)
- Experience partnering with business leaders as an adviser in early career programming and recruitment
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and deadlines
- Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders or presenting in front of groups
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Serve as the primary owner and point of contact for XPO's early career, internship and career transition program strategies
- Support and advise on the recruiting strategy for aforementioned programs
- Manage the overall experience for the summer internship program, and other early career programs including planning, communicating, implementing, and reporting on the day-to-day experience for early career associates
- Ensure associates maintain a strong connection to the program throughout its life cycle including post internship communications
- Regularly review strategy and results with HR and business leaders to improve program offerings for entry career talent
- Secondary responsibilities will include
- Partner closely with senior leaders, as well as HR, Employment Branding, and Communications teams to promote programs both internally and externally
- Collaborate and build partnerships with senior leaders and stakeholders to understand the business and skill needs, and develop and deliver creative and effective learning solutions in support of company-wide goals
- Facilitate learning events and programs
- Thrive in a "fast-paced" organization with the ability to prioritize work efficiently
- Maintain knowledge and stay current with industry trends to allow for continuous improvement across programs
