Provide comprehensive support to Engineering Project Managers and senior project engineers in completing Capex investments or projects, spanning from business case development and technical design to successful on-site implementation and commissioning. Ensure the delivery and maintenance of industry-leading engineering and maintenance standards. Collaborate with teams to align project goals with organizational goals, ensuring resource use and adherence to timelines.

Your Title: Project Engineer
Your Location: Mt. Olive, NJ
You will Report to: Director of Engineering

Responsibilities:
• Supports Engineering Project Managers or senior project engineers in the implementation of Capex investments or projects from business case and technical design through to on-site execution and commissioning, ensuring the best Engineering/Maintenance.
• Contribute to the design of local Engineering strategy by providing Engineering Managers with project feasibility information.
• Help design tactical plans and build related operational goals.
• Help prepare business cases and related project plans and complete these upon approval by sponsor(s) and steering committee(s).
• Monitor daily aspects of projects including quality of work product, client communications, budget, schedule, and coordinating technical staff (internal and external).
• Work with production, safety, and laboratory managers and external specialists and authorities to create specification sheets, designs, and detailed plans while respecting all norms, regulations, and EHS standards.
• Maintain quality control of deliverables and ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, safety, and security regulations.
• Write and compile all required technical reports summarizing test results, feasibility assessments, recommended improvement opportunities, calculated savings, and estimated incentives.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and place orders in collaboration with the purchasing department.
• Control contractors on-site and implement project plans within approved budgets.

Your Professional Profile Includes:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline.
• Plant Engineering or Maintenance Certification.
• Project Management Certification.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in engineering projects involving diverse disciplines.
• Proficient in using engineering software tools for project planning and execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement programs.
