The Staff Management - SMX team in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring Food Manufacturing Machine Operator. As a member of this factory team, you will assist in manufacturing chocolate, protein bars, and granola bars. Your pay rate is between $18.37-$20.60/hour and you will receive weekly pay, health benefits, and much more.

This is a full-time position available for the following shift(s):

  • A Shift: 7am to 3pm
  • B Shift: 3pm to 11pm
  • C Shift: 11pm to 7am

Pay Rate: $18.37 - $20.60 / hour

Duties:

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Measure and mix dry ingredients according to production recipes and specifications
  • Safely lift and handle large sacks of ingredients and transport them to mixing stations in the warehouse
  • Operate industrial mixers and other equipment used in the blending process
  • Shovel mixed ingredients into carts and transport them to the manufacturing line for further processing
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of mixing and manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Troubleshoot any machine malfunctions or operational issues
  • Maintain accurate records of ingredients used and batch production details
  • Operate and monitor machines during production
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure production quality
  • Perform assembly and use personal protective equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on machines
  • Inspect products for quality control
  • Assist with general repair and inspections

Position Requirements:
  • 6 months experience in food production / manufacturing and warehouse environment required
  • Ability to lift heavy sacks of ingredients and performed physical tasks associated with the role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Basic math skills


Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
