- $65,000 to $70,000 annually
Schedule:
- M-F 7:30am-5:00pm
Job Details:
- The Transportation Manager shall be responsible for scheduling and routing of all trucks as well as managing our fleet of drivers.
- The right individual will be a critical role within the company for ensuring customer needs are met and that drivers/trucks are in compliance with all DOT regulation.
- This position will work closely with internal teams, waste generators and other vendors to maintain equipment, schedule pick ups with customers, and ensure waste moves out of the facility in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Associated or Bachelors degree in supply chain, logistics or operational related discipline preferred. Equivalent work‐related experience will be considered for strong candidates.
- 2 or more years' experience working in the transportation, waste, chemical or related industry (preferred) with experience in truck routing, scheduling and mapping.
- Ability to understand safe driving principles, behaviors and regulations.
- Strong decision‐making ability and attention to details.
- Demonstrated safety management and leadership experience.
- Able to strive in a fast‐paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate, problem solve and build intercompany relationships.
