Air Operations Supervisor
Location: Carson/LA
Full time office based
Salary: $33ph to $38ph - commensurate of experience

The Air Operations Supervisors key responsibilities are:
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong carrier relations, including negotiating rates and securing spot quotes.
Supervise and manage the international work group, ensuring productivity and cost objectives are met.
Coordinate daily freight movements, determine routing, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for both import and export operations.
Analyze market trends to ensure competitive rates and profitability, while providing accurate shipping quotes to customers.
Manage vendor and carrier relationships to maintain high-quality service levels.
Identify and analyze customer requirements by creating/updating SOPs and ensure internal processes meet or exceed these.
Ensure accurate invoicing and approve payments in line with contractual obligations.
Recommending and implementing changes in procedures, systems, methods, and policies in cooperation with the international manager.
Participate in occasional overtime and on-call duties, depending on workload and other duties maybe asked to perform.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of related work experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to supervise and motivate a team, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of export routing, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) or equivalent credentials required.
