Sales Support Executive
Job purpose:
- To create and maintain a quality level of experience extended to all internal stakeholders and external visiting clients. This experience will start from being the first point of contact at the front counter to management of day-to-day office operations and sales support activities. The position will have changing requirements and so you need to be very adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.
- To analyze sales performance and work closely with local Sales team & Global Trade related teams.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Answer calls and send leads to Sales team.
- Support in the preparation of data for country sales and overall performance.
- Participate in sales meetings and prepare data for sales progress and pipeline reports.
- Support sales activities between customers and agents.
- Be part of improvement meetings with sales organization (agents) and support following up of progress.
- Be the internal contact person for CRM Tool and support the implementation.
- Assist with preparation of materials needed for customer and internal meetings.
- Support sales team on quotations, RFQ, credit application.
- Take charge of news within the organization to be published by marketing team in SeaLead.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Sales Excellence:
- Work with related stakeholders (mainly trade) to improve the sales process to increase success ratio.
- Be part of improvement meetings with sales organization (agents) and support follow-up of progress.
- Engage with sales teams to improve sales processes and to share best practice (intranet).
- Analyze customer retention ratio and develop a process to improve.
Sales Finance Management:
- Contribute to dispute resolution and provide assistance on root cause analysis.
- Support month closing related to SAP and missing/wrong data entries for quotations.
- Producing meaningful and accurate observations and recommendations for improving operational and financial performance.
Sales Follow-up (on needs' basis),
- Follow-up on leads provided by Account Managers, Trade and Network.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education requirement: Diploma level
Language requirements: English – Fluent (required)
Background and experience:
- 1 - 2 years' work experience as Sales Support.
- Prior experience in the container shipping industry will be advantageous.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Meticulous, proactive, goal oriented.
- Good time management with the ability to prioritize work.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
