Talent & Organizational Development Program Coordinator - Reading, PA - Penske

Position Summary :

This Specialist position is responsible for supporting the Talent & Organizational Development Department in preparing and organizing training program materials and curriculum, participant communications, as well as producing sessions, to ensure optimal participant experience.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develops and oversees the production of classroom handouts, nametags, instructional materials, aids, schedules, and manuals

-Assists facilitators in delivering training courses through moderating and managing virtual technologies for positive participant experience (e.g. Zoom attendance, breakout rooms, chat/polls, sharing presentation, troubleshooting, etc.)

-Coordinates with instructors on updating content libraries within learning management systems

  • Processes enrollment of all trainings and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations
  • Ensures that instructional materials, schedules, and training details are distributed timely to participants
  • Manages small updates to training materials, as well as administrative updates to program learning platforms.
  • Prepares training session details for in-person learning events through coordinating and organizing on and off-site conference rooms, catering needs, hotel stay arrangements, and engagement activities
  • Responsible for purchasing, invoicing, and tracking goods, services, or supplies in coordination with Senior Manager
  • Supports new technologies as they become available to facilitate dynamic learning experiences
  • Collects participant surveys and attendance reports on training programs
  • Assists and collaborates with the Talent Development Team on other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative support and/or customer service experience
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Seeks solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as internal software applications or databases
  • Experience with presentation technology and virtual facilitation systems
  • Ability to proactively build relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work a required schedule and at a specific location with up to 15-20% travel.
  • Can complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
