1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm

As a compounder, you will be responsible for accurately mixing and blending various ingredient to create a variety of products according to precise formulas and quality standards. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Blend liquid and semi-solid bulk formulations
- Carry out batching instructions and process standards without deviations
- Identify proper materials and correctly batch using both loss in weight and gain in weight material additions
- Correctly maintain appropriate work documents
- Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service
- Correctly interpret and follow company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance
- Safely operate various equipment and tools
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve daily production goals
- Catalog and track goods and/or supplies
- Adhere to the 5S program by maintaining a clean environment
- Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to do high school level math
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
It'd be great if you also have:
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
- 1 year of experience as a compounder or similar
- Knowledge of basic chemical principles and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Skills in inventory control and cycle counting
- Knowledge or experience in an USEPA regulated manufacturing facility
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners
- PIT experience
This job requires the ability to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
- Pass a respirator physical and fit test
- Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
