Our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction drives our success, and we are looking for a skilled Finance Controller to join our team and oversee our financial operations.

Job Summary:
The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management. This role is crucial in maintaining financial health, providing insightful analysis, and supporting decision-making processes to drive the company's growth in the freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor financial performance against budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide insights into financial performance, trends, and projections.

Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Conduct periodic audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.

Compliance:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and address any audit findings or recommendations.

Reporting:
Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management, including financial performance summaries, variance analyses, and strategic recommendations.

Systems and Processes:
Implement and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Evaluate and recommend financial software and tools as needed.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management /supervisory role, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are highly desirable.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
