Staff Management - SMX in Tolleson, Arizona is hiring Machine Operators to join our warehouse team at SK Food Group. Shift Information:

  • 2nd Shift Production: Monday-Thursday, 3:00PM to 12:30AM

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $25.00 / hour

Duties:

A Flow Wrapper Machine Operator is responsible for operating the flow wrapping machinery, which is used to package products in a continuous motion. The job typically involves the following duties:

  • Setting up and adjusting the flow wrapper machine to ensure proper packaging of products.
  • Monitoring the machine during operation to detect any malfunctions or deviations from standard performance.
  • Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to maintain its efficiency and longevity.
  • Loading materials onto the machine and ensuring a continuous supply for uninterrupted operation.
  • Inspecting the quality of the packaged products and making adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards.
  • Recording production data, such as quantities, types, and dimensions of materials produced.
  • Collaborating with other team members to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.

Operators may also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, managing the flow of materials, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed.

  • Computer Skills
  • Ability to work assigned shift schedule.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in a cold environment of approximately 40 degrees.
  • Comfortable standing for 8 hours a day.
  • Observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)


Requirements: Background Check, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old, No Drug Test Required.Able to Lift 40 pounds., required education: No Education Requirement.
