As the Federal Tax Analyst, you will support the company in a variety of tax disciplines including income tax, fixed assets, tax audits, and income tax provision. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Assist with the preparation of federal book-tax adjustments, income tax returns, estimates, and extensions.
• Assist with the preparation of federal income tax provision.
• Assist with the review of fixed asset additions, and ensure accuracy related to tax lives and methods.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness for all tax general ledger accounts.
• Assist with tax integration related to acquisitions.
• Collaborate with the tax team to create reports and work on special projects for upper management in areas including effective tax rate, cash taxes, and tax planning.
• Research various federal tax issues to ensure accuracy within the compliance process.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of related federal tax experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

It'd be great if you also have:

• Advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• CPA.
• 2 or more years of related federal tax experience.
• Experience with Alteryx software.
• Experience with Oracle and HFM.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
