Job Description:
The Truck Transportation Coordinator/Dispatcher directs and coordinates the activities concerned with the dispatching of loads to carriers. The dispatcher works with the members of the sales and distribution team to increase company profitability and supplier and customer satisfaction by the efficient and cost-effective booking of trucks.
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the transportation industry.
- Freight brokerage experience is a plus.
- Working relationship with flatbed carriers.
- Self-Motivated; energetic; and driven;
- Good communication skills;
- Confident and the ability to make quick decisions;
- Proven ability to dispatch/book 50 loads daily.
