Job Description:

The Export Coordinator is responsible for coordinating between customers, CODA warehouse and dispatch personnel to ensure an efficient operational service is provided. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

Pay: $26 - $31 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities:
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Administration/data entry when receiving export cargo
  • Maintain/update customer inventory for all clients
  • Maintain excellent relationships with all clients
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates and preferred routings/services/carriers
  • Immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to supervisor
  • Resolve issues respective to meeting client requirements, data input - general customer service inquiries related to tracking & tracing
  • Tracking of freight and processing invoices whilst providing excellent customer service
  • Process data through the Company system and submit shipping information to various clients
  • Confirm weekly inventory reports per client
  • Track and review shipping status to ensure timely departure and delivery of freight
  • Ensure shipments of hazardous materials are checked and processed in accordance with all applicable regulations under the DOT and OSHA guidelines
  • Billing of all transactions
  • Ensure the customer is provided excellent service throughout the export process. Including quick response to inquiries and problem resolution
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Job Requirements:
  • High School or GED equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree is encouraged but not required
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in an office environment
  • 2+ years in an Export position
  • 2+ years in the Logistics or Shipping Industry
  • Global Supply Chain knowledge helpful
  • Freight Forwarding and/or NVOCC experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and provide great customer service
  • Being able to work independently and part of a team
  • Able to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks
