SIMOS is hiring Light Manufacturing Associates in Florence, KY for the industry's biggest and most diverse offerings of promotional products and decorative services. We are currently hiring for the 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm). The pay is $16/hour. We value collaborative contributions and an inclusive work environment. This position is ideal for anyone looking to get into industrial operations and comfortable working with an industrial sewing machine. This position will provide training for multiple aspects of operations. This is a short-term temp assignment that will last 2-3 weeks with the potential to be hired for peak season.

Duties:
- Light novelty item manufacturing in a fast-paced environment.
- Duties include decorating, towel/blanket press operation, packing, and shipping of individual items.
- Must have the ability to perform safe handling and processing of products while standing for long periods.
- Repetitive motion is necessary for production output.
- Attention to detail and quality is important.
- Dependability and attention to positive attendance
- Must be able to work overtime as volume increase
Position Requirements:
- Ability to lift parts weighing up to 30 lbs. without powered equipment assistance
- Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions.
- Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
- Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
- Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 30 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
