Your Role: Customs Entry Writer
As a Customs Entry Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth clearance of imported goods while ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs and Participating Government Agency (PGA) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process customs entries for international import shipments
- Classify goods correctly using HTS codes and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and PGA requirements
- Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and government agencies to facilitate smooth cargo clearance
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation
- Stay updated on customs regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance laws
- Resolve customs-related issues and troubleshoot clearance delays
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in Customs Entry within Freight Forwarding
- Strong knowledge of international import transportation and customs brokerage procedures
- Familiarity with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and PGA regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, carriers, and customs officials
- Must have valid U.S. work authorization (Visa or Citizenship)
